Heritage International School's House System divides our students into four vibrant houses — each named after and inspired by one of the four classical elements of nature. This cherished tradition fosters healthy competition, strong team spirit, a sense of belonging and leadership development in every Heritagian from day one.

"Purity, Innocence and Perfection"
White represents a successful beginning, stands for purity, innocence and perfection. The Air house channels the qualities of clarity of thought, freedom of spirit and the purity of purpose that lifts every Heritagian to their highest potential.
"Progress, Joy and Intellect"
Yellow is the colour of sunshine and is associated with progress, joy and intellect. The Earth house embodies growth, stability and the nurturing power of knowledge rooted deep like the earth itself — always reaching upwards.
"Strength, Force, Energy and Leadership"
Red symbolises strength, force, energy and leadership. The Fire house burns with passion, determination and the relentless drive to excel — igniting champions in sport, academics and every arena of school life.
"Loyalty, Confidence, Calmness and Piety"
Blue is associated with loyalty, confidence, calmness and piety. The Water house flows with quiet resilience — adaptable, deep and unstoppable, fostering students of steady character, sincere loyalty and inner confidence.

We at Heritage International School try to instil the values of self-motivation, self-confidence and sensibility within all our students. The goals of student empowerment, development of leadership skills and community feeling are achieved through two proud student bodies.
The highest student honour — the School Captain leads by example, represents the student body and upholds the values of Heritage at all times.
The Head Boy and Head Girl lead the school community, serving as role models of character, discipline and academic excellence.
Each of the four houses is led by a House Captain — a student who inspires their team to give their best in every competition and activity.
The Games Captain for Boys and Girls oversees sporting events, encourages athletic participation and fosters a culture of sportsmanship.
Supporting the Head Boy and Head Girl, the deputies assist in the smooth running of school governance and student affairs.
House Prefects are the backbone of each house — motivating peers, maintaining order and building the spirit of their house every single day.

Both the Prefects' Council and the Students' Council are inducted through a grand Investiture Ceremony — a prestigious occasion that marks the formal conferring of badges, ties and responsibilities upon our student leaders. It is one of the most celebrated events in the Heritage calendar, witnessed with immense pride by students, staff and parents alike.
The Prefects' Council is made up of the School Captain, House Captains, Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl, Games Captain for Boys and Games Captain for Girls, and the House Prefects. The prefects of the school are selected by the faculty and the house staff, and are advised and guided by a committee of Prefect Advisors.
The members of the Prefects' Council work together as a team to uphold the rules and regulations of the school and help to maintain discipline. Through their work as prefects, they learn the valuable lesson that with authority comes responsibility and its associated challenges.
The Prefects' Council is the first step towards our goal of creating conscientious and responsible global citizens — young people who are as committed to their community as they are to their personal growth.
The Prefects' Council is far more than a governance structure — it is a school within a school. Prefects at Heritage learn to lead with integrity, communicate with empathy and make decisions that serve the greater good of the entire school community.
