This Privacy Policy explains how Heritage International School (“we”, “us”, “our”), an ICSE-affiliated school in Kalyan and part of the Bosco Group of Schools / Bosco Education Trust, collects and uses your information when you visit www.heritageschools.in, submit our enquiry or job-application forms, or respond to our advertisements on Facebook and Instagram (Meta).

1. Information we collect

When you contact us or fill in a form — on our website, or through a lead form inside a Meta advertisement — we may collect:

  • Contact details — the child’s name, parent or guardian names, phone number(s) and email address(es).
  • Admission details — the class applied for, academic year, previous school, residential address and how you heard about the school.
  • Visit details — your preferred date and time slot for a campus visit, and any message you send us.
  • Job application details — name, qualifications, experience, the position applied for and any resume you upload.
  • Technical information — your IP address and the date and time of submission, kept to process your enquiry and to protect our forms from automated abuse.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry and guide you through admission.
  • To contact you by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email about that enquiry — including a confirmation message and a link on which you can follow your enquiry’s progress.
  • To arrange and confirm a campus visit.
  • To maintain our admission and applicant records.

We contact you only about the enquiry or application you submitted, and about related admission information. We do not add you to unrelated marketing lists.

3. Advertising on Meta (Facebook & Instagram)

If you submit your details through a lead form shown inside one of our advertisements on Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes that information to us so that our admissions team can contact you. Meta’s own handling of your data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy. We use what you give us there for one purpose: to follow up on your admission enquiry.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Staff and administration of Heritage International School and Bosco Education Trust who handle admissions and recruitment.
  • Service providers who help us run our website, store our records and send notifications on our behalf, under an obligation of confidentiality and only for those purposes.
  • Authorities, where we are required to share it by law or by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and other applicable regulations.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it to process your enquiry or application and to maintain the records the school is required to hold. Enquiry records that do not lead to an admission are retained for a limited period and then removed. You may ask us to delete your details at any time.

6. Keeping it safe

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to safeguard what you share with us.

7. Your rights

You may contact us at any time to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct or update anything that is wrong or out of date.
  • Ask us to delete your information.
  • Ask us to stop contacting you.

We will act on a request of this kind within a reasonable period, and we will not ask you to justify it.

8. Children’s information

As a school we necessarily collect information about children as part of admission. Where the student is a minor, the details should be submitted by a parent or guardian, who consents to this policy on the child’s behalf. We do not ask children to submit their own details through this website.

9. Cookies

Our website uses only what is needed to make the pages work and to keep our forms secure. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of visitors to this site.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any change is posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date above.
